Project Management Project Failures (part 5)

Power struggles by members trying to complete a project can be detrimental. Power struggles between management can lead to employee confusion. Employees may not know which manager to follow. Contradictions on decisions may cause extra or needless work. The workers of the project may do and redo many steps of the project while trying to please both parties participating in the power struggle. A lack of respect for the managers can also occur. Project failure may occur when resistance to change is offered. This role can cause the project to stay behind in technologic advances.
