As many new jobs were created through factories and industries and in turn need arose for graduates to take positions as professionals in these factories. This observable fact influenced parents of every creed to take their children to schools because the better the education the better the job and salary hence improved the living standards of many American citizens. Another Political factor that shaped the education system is the concerns that were raised between public schools and private schools. And within and outside, many schools sprawled up as many or plenty of children were available but many preferred public schools to private schools. Culturally, the segregation had affected the country for many decades as at last people lived together and worked together hence their children went to the same schools. This trend in a way changed many people’s beliefs about segregation. State legislatures recognized the need of funding to build more schools and improve the facilities of the existing schools, colleges and universities. Institutions were better placed when the produced best personalities from various colleges to work in them.
Last but not least, industrialization led to a range of political, economic and socio-cultural changes which affected the peoples’ lives and living standards of the United States.
Conclusion
Industrialization in the United States of America clearly led to the tremendous growth of towns and many students enrolled in schools both public and private schools because there was need for learned class to work in these factories.
