Many events in the world are fun, interesting and wonderfully fabulous when if interested an individual takes time to watch and scrutinize them, in particular the behavior of animals, insects and birds. One of the events that this paper will concentrate on is the colorful migration of birds and their behavior from one region of the world to the other.
Birds and their Story of Migration
All around the year or during some seasons, there is an occurrence, very spectacular movements of birds from the northern hemisphere to the southern hemisphere and later in a different season the move from the south to the northern parts. The migration is colorful as these birds move in patterns and led by one of them. The movement is very spectacular for the reason that they keep changing patterns in a show that probably will suggest that the weak or the exhausted one are encouraged by the stronger birds. The last birds will overtake the first and sometimes the first group of birds will maneuver and hover around in style that suggests this group waits for the weaker friend to come near or even go past them and then they continue. There are numerous reasons why these birds migrate and the main one are change of temperature due to winter and during this winter, they will not find food at all and hence they have to move from one part of the world to find food and shelter during this coldest season of the year.
As these birds move from one place of the world to the other, they organize themselves before they set out for long flights which some day and night. Those that can not be able to fly at night rest on tall trees and some of them at this point get more exhausted and die before reaching destination. However, these birds face a lot of dangers during their journeys. Some die of exhaustion, wounds inflicted by those that segregate and fight off others and other injuries. Moreover, as they fly, it is interesting that many birds’ species do not fly for a long time more especially those fly at high altitudes. Some birds are very destructive especially those that fly at low altitudes and many of this kind of species migrate to search for food because during winter there is little or absolutely no food and not even shelters. What do these birds eat? These birds eat different things depending on the species, for instance, there are those that eat rodents, seeds and insects. At what time do birds fly and why in particular this time? Many fly at night to safeguard themselves from the enemies. Those that fly during the day have no enemies and the other reasons are like, they can be able to see during the day and avoid dangers like hitting tall monuments and building.
